Cancellation Policy for Elbow Outfitters

We understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness to all our customers and to allow us to manage our schedule effectively, we have the following cancellation policy in place.

1. General Cancellation Terms:

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing (email to info@elbowoutfitters.ca is preferred) and received by Elbow Outfitters.

  • The date and time of the email receipt will determine the applicable cancellation fee.

2. Cancellation Periods & Fees:

  • More than 7 days prior to your scheduled rental: You will receive a full refund of any payments made.

  • Between 3 and 7 days prior to your scheduled rental: You will receive a 75% refund of your total booking amount. The remaining 25% will be retained as a cancellation fee.

  • Less than 3 days (72 hours) prior to your scheduled rental: No refund will be issued. The full booking amount will be retained as a cancellation fee.

3. Rescheduling an Appointment:

  • We understand that rescheduling may be necessary. If you wish to reschedule your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • More than 7 days prior to your scheduled rental: You may reschedule your booking once, free of charge, subject to availability.

  • Between 3 and 7 days prior to your scheduled rental: You may reschedule your booking once, with a rescheduling fee of $50.

  • Less than 3 days (72 hours) prior to your scheduled rental: Rescheduling will be treated as a cancellation, and the full booking amount will be retained. A new booking will need to be made.

4. Inclement Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances:

  • In the event of severe weather conditions (e.g., extreme storms, heavy snowfall making travel unsafe, or conditions that could damage our equipment) that would make the rental unsafe or impossible, Elbow Outfitters reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the booking. In such cases, we will offer you:

  • A full refund.

  • The option to reschedule your rental at no additional charge.

  • If you choose to cancel due to weather conditions that are not deemed severe enough by Elbow Outfitters to warrant our cancellation, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

  • We recommend monitoring local weather forecasts as your rental date approaches.

5. No-Shows:

  • If our team arrives at the agreed-upon location at the scheduled time and you are not present or contactable, this will be considered a "no-show." In such cases, no refund will be issued, and the full booking amount will be retained.

6. Refunds:

  • All eligible refunds will be processed within [e.g., 5-7 business days] to the original payment method used for the booking.
